Philosophy and framework
Philosophy: European small and mid-caps are structurally under-covered. Most English-speaking funds ignore them, and local brokers don’t publish in English. Mispricings last longer here than in the S&P 500. That’s the inefficiency I hunt.
Framework: I only publish when I can answer 4 questions:
Why does this company exist? What customer pain does it solve?
What has to go right? The 2-3 KPIs that drive value over 3+ years.
What breaks the thesis? Where I’m wrong, and what would make me sell.
What is it worth? Long-term valuation ranges based on scenario work, not a single price target.
If I can’t answer all 4, I don’t write it up. No filler.
How I avoid garbage: Automatic nos include consistent insider selling, unexplainable accounting, or a business I can’t describe to a 12-year-old. Quality first, then price.
